We identified four key themes from the first round of engagement. They were;

  • A desire to protect the natural environment
  • A desire to preserve the unique charm of the area
  • A need for better accessibility and connections throughout the precinct (including parking and improved footpaths)
  • A desire for better facilities and amenities in the precinct.

“The Snapper Rocks to Rainbow Bay Foreshore Precinct is an iconic coastal destination where world-class surf breaks, community connection, and environmental stewardship come together. Embracing sustainability and adapting to climate impacts, it remains an inclusive, resilient, and inspiring place for locals and visitors, ensuring its beauty and vitality for generations to come.”
