LGIP Stormwater quality amendment to the City Plan
Following Ministerial approval and Council adoption of the Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) Stormwater quality amendment to the City Plan, this amendment will be implemented and become effective on 1 July 2019, as part of City Plan Version 7.

The draft Heritage overlay provisions amendment incorporates the provisions of Temporary Local Planning Instrument (TLPI) No 9 (Protection of Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade) 2021 which will cease to have effect on 31 July 2023.

In late 2021, Council resolved to undertake investigations into master planning the Northern Marine Precinct. Stage 1 began in early 2022 with a Preliminary planning investigation report prepared.
