Glennon Park is a large sporting and community park in Nerang and is home to a range of field and court sports, community activities and informal recreation opportunities.
The park is used by local sporting clubs, community groups, residents and visitors, and plays an important role in supporting sport, recreation and community life.
As the park continues to evolve, we're developing a draft Concept Plan to guide future renewal and upgrades.
The site faces a range of challenges including flooding and drainage issues, ageing facilities, parking and traffic pressures, safety and lighting concerns, and increasing demand from sporting clubs and park users.
The draft Concept Plan will help identify opportunities to:
improve drainage, traffic flow, parking and safety
support sporting clubs and community facilities
enhance accessibility and connections throughout the park
improve the overall function and usability of the site
guide future upgrades and investment.
