Community activities and services are vital for thriving communities, as they promote learning, health, and strong social connections. These can include sports and fitness programs; programs for children, youth, families, and seniors; support for vulnerable community members; library services; and arts, cultural, and special interest activities. These services are typically delivered in facilities like libraries, community centres, arts and cultural hubs, and sports and recreation venues.
By providing spaces and activities for recreation, education, and social interaction, community facilities and services foster personal growth, encourage active lifestyles, and strengthen connections among residents.
