Safe city survey 2021

The City of Gold Coast works in partnership with the Queensland Police Service, Neighbourhood Watch, other community groups and industry groups to help create a safe city where everybody belongs. Our programs include graffiti prevention, the safety camera network, public safety audits and safety and crime prevention initiatives.

The aim of the survey is to improve City of Gold Coast safety programs, by understanding community feelings of safety on the Gold Coast and in local neighbourhoods. We are keen to hear from:

  • residents of the Gold Coast
  • visitors to the Gold Coast
  • business owners located on the Gold Coast

The survey will ask you questions about safety on the Gold Coast and in your local neighbourhood as well as questions about reporting incidents on the Gold Coast.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. By completing the survey you can go in the draw to win one of five $250 EFTPOS vouchers (terms and conditions apply).

Community engagement for this survey runs from Tuesday 27 April to Monday 17 May 2021.

For more information about the survey contact the City's community safety team via email communitysafety@goldcoast.qld.gov.au or more information about the City’s community safety programs can be found at cityofgoldcoast.com.au/communitysafety
