Northern Marine Precinct

Consultation has concluded

Have your say on the future of the Northern Marine Precinct at Steiglitz.

The City of Gold Coast is developing a master plan for the Northern Marine Precinct as part of its commitment to supporting the growth of our high value marine sector.

The Northern Marine Precinct is already host to a range of marine businesses and the master plan will seek to guide land use changes and infrastructure, to support the precinct’s capacity to develop further.

The Northern Marine Precinct provides a significant opportunity to support new jobs in the northern Gold Coast area, whilst supporting the Gold Coast's established marine sector.

Development of the precinct also has the potential to deliver broader benefits to the area, such as improved transport and community infrastructure, stormwater management, access to services for the local community and access to Moreton Bay.

It is important for the master planning process to be informed by input from the community to reflect their views, values and vision for the Northern Marine Precinct and the surrounding area.

We are inviting the community to have your say to help shape the future of the Northern Marine Precinct.

How you can have your say:

1. Learn more about the precinct themes, draft opportunities and challenges:

2. Complete our online survey about the Northern Marine Precinct

3. Provide feedback via our interactive map

Community engagement runs from 10 to 31 October 2023.
