The NaturallyGC program connects both residents and visitors alike with conserving, exploring and learning more about our city’s wonderful natural environment.
The program provides a range of environmentally based activities and workshops from guided bushwalks, wildlife shows, tree planting, coastal education, citizen science, native gardening, nature photography, kids nature play and more.
You can also discover other city led environment initiatives, connect with community groups working to restore and conserve our natural areas, discover our best natural area parks to visit and check out ideas to keep the kids busy, active and exploring our natural environment.
The program aims to;
connecting the community with nature and our Gold Coast natural areas
providing a range of free and low cost nature based workshops and activities for the community
providing beneficial, environmental education opportunities to the community
encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle
encouraging and promoting sustainable, nature based recreation opportunities
encourage, promote and support on-ground conservation action
raising awareness of the environmental values of the Gold Coast
promote and support city wide conservation initiatives
