As a yoga therapist and somatic counsellor I have explored many movement options to connect with body, mind and spirit for myself and my clients. Nia offers something very unique that I have experienced ...it's a way to safely express difficult emotions and feel transformed afterwards. I can move and dance freely with intention and connect with my inner sense of joy. It has improved my quality of life. Natalie holds this space beautifully and is so kind and easy to approach.
I recommend this class to many of my clients.

I love going to nats classes each friday morning. It has really helped my rehab after my fall. So much better than any of the traditional therapies i tried.
The ladies are lovely too. Nats nia class is the highlight of my week!

Nia with Natalie - Thursdays nights in the Pacific Pines Community Centre.

Two years in, and at 51, I’ve finally found an exercise class I love and stick to!
Natalie’s Nia Dance classes are fun, uplifting, and full of positive energy.
I always leave feeling grateful, blessed, and on a natural high.

Sound flow with Gabriela is such a beautiful experience
The sound of the flute & some of Gabriela"s instruments from her native culture create such a relaxing experience, then you get taken on a journey through her beautiful voice.

Nia with Nat Thursdays
Just love going to my Nia dance on Thursdays with Natalie.
I have been going to Natalie's class for the last couple of years .
Its a very uplifting class , its joyful fun & has a beautiful sense of being that always leaves me looking forward to her next class.
I believe dancing heals our soul .

I did the Friday class with Natalie at Nerang community centre and I am absolutely blown away with how my body has felt after just one class, I have a history of endometriosis and adenomyosis and sciatica nerve pain, I love to do Yoga and Pilates but each time I leave those classes my body feels worse and more inflamed, 4 days after Natalies class and my body feels amazing, I have been able to go for daily walks without being in pain halfway through my walk, I recently had pancreatic surgery and I haven't had much of an appetite since Nia class I have actually sat an ate a full meal, which is something I haven't done for over 2 years. My body feels amazing my bloating in my belly my legs my back absolutely everything I've never felt so normal in my body like I have since doing Natalies class it was absolutely incredible.

Hi everyone. I have been attending the NIA classes with Natalie on Fridays at Bert Swift Centre. I absolutely love being part of this - I have an hour to work with my mind and body and not think about my cancer journey. By the end of the class, I am in a completely relaxed state of mind and keen to take on the world. Over the weeks, I have also noticed a return of muscle strength - Nia is not only healing for the mind but also the body! The other attendees are very welcoming, and Natalie is such a joy to work with. Her bubbling enthusiasm is contagious. A&H Slow Flow Yoga and Stretch Coomera with Tania
Tania creates a wonderful experience each Friday.
Showing us how to stretch our bodies with slow yoga techniques are amazing ( & surprising 😁). Tania stays alert and aware of our body’s movements to ensure we are doing them correctly and is happy to adjust our bodies to the correct movements.
I love the positive vibes she brings with her to each class which she shares with us. Thank you Tania 🥰

Great classes
Ross is such a great teacher and so professional and thoughtful towards our ages and ability, explains how to do each exercise as we go.
You walk out of his class feeling like you’ve really done yourself some good.
That saying “use it or loose it” 👍

I would like to congratulate the team at Active and Healthy for their decision to invite Natalie to bring her Nia class to the Pacific Pines Community Centre. Great foresight!
After spending quite some time trying to find the right place for me, an older person with energy and flexibility issues, along with a loss of strength in damaged limbs from several falls, I finally found Nia. And it is perfect. Not only does this class help with the above, but also fills my emotional cup. It is fun, sometimes simply gentle and calm, caters to all ages, has great music, different levels of workouts for different people and fitness levels, and I love that I have met some wonderful people in the community who I may not have, had I not found this class.
Once again, thank you Active and Healthy team.
And thank YOU, Natalie. You are amazing - your heart is beautiful, you openly share that warmth with us all, and yet you never lose your professionalism; encouraging us all.

Nia dance class
I recommend everyone give Nia a go, men and ladies of any age. It is so much fun and a great workout that’s leaves you feeling free, uplifted and better about yourself and the world, which we all need in our lives. Natalie is a top class teacher with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. No dance experience necessary at all and it is a zero judgement zone. Highly recommended.
Thanks for including Nia in the active and healthy program.

Nia with Natalie in Nerang on Fridays is great. It is a time for my well-being and to be physically active without the pressure and judgement of other forms of group exercise. You just do what feels right for you and focus on the movement. Please keep the classes going. Thank you.
