Southport PDA Proposed Development Scheme

This consultation has now closed.

Southport was declared a Priority Development Area (PDA) on 4 October 2013 under the Queensland Government's Economic Development Act 2012.

Council, in partnership with Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) has prepared a proposed development scheme for the Southport PDA. The Proposed Development Scheme details the vision for Southport as the Gold Coast CBD through a land use plan, infrastructure plan and implementation strategy.

The final scheme is expected to be in place by mid 2014.

To have your say:

  1. Read the Southport PDA Proposed Development Scheme;
  2. Read the Southport PDA Draft Streetscape Design Guidelines;
  3. View the Priority Development Area boundary map;
  4. Read the Frequently Asked Questions; and
Submit your response using one of the following options:
  1. Complete the online submission form; or
