FAQs
What is Robina Common?
Robina Common is a sports and recreation park in Robina. It includes soccer and baseball fields, playgrounds, an off‑leash dog area and community facilities, and is an important space for both organised sport and community use. |
Why are you consulting the community?
We’re seeking feedback on the draft concept plan to understand community sentiment on the overall design and gather input on key elements that can be influenced. Your feedback will help guide finalisation of the concept plan and future priorities. |
What improvements are proposed?
The draft concept plan proposes upgrades to sports and community infrastructure, including improved facilities, additional car parking, enhanced community amenities and improved accessibility across the park. |
Will all improvements be built at once?
No. Delivery is expected to occur in stages over time, subject to community priorities, future funding, approvals and detailed design. |
Will trees or vegetation be removed?
Retaining significant vegetation is a priority. The draft concept plan aims to retain established trees. Some minor vegetation changes may be required as part of detailed design, and opportunities for additional planting will also be considered. |
How can I provide feedback?
You can provide feedback by completing the online survey on this page during the consultation period. Consultation is open from 14 July – 3 August 2026 |
What happens after consultation closes?
All feedback will be reviewed and analysed. A community engagement outcomes report will be prepared, and the results will help inform future design development and delivery priorities. |
