What is Glennon Park?

Glennon Park is a large sporting and community park in Nerang. It is home to a range of field and court sports, community organisations and informal recreation activities, and is an important destination for sporting clubs, residents and visitors.

Why are you consulting the community?

We're seeking feedback on the draft Concept Plan to better understand how people use Glennon Park, what they value and what improvements they would like to see in the future.

Your feedback will help inform the final Concept Plan and guide future priorities for the park.

    What improvements are considered?

The draft concept plan will include potential improvements to drainage, parking, traffic flow, safety and accessibility. It also explores opportunities to support sporting clubs, community facilities and future use of the park.

The plan also considers opportunities to improve lighting, connections, amenities and the overall functionality of Glennon Park.

Will all improvements be built at once?

No. Delivery is expected to occur in stages over time, subject to community priorities, future funding, approvals and detailed design.

    How can I provide feedback?

You can provide feedback by completing the online survey on this page during the consultation period.

Consultation is open from 28 July – 17 August 2026.

    What happens after consultation closes?

All feedback will be reviewed and analysed.

A community engagement outcomes report will be prepared, and the results will help inform future design development and delivery priorities.
