Disability Access Survey
Your experience of accessibility in community places and spaces
We are seeking feedback on access to our sport and aquatic centres, community centres and outdoor spaces to understand how we can make these places more accessible and inclusive for people with a disability.
Why we are asking
We are committed to making the Gold Coast more accessible and inclusive so everyone can use and participate in our sporting venues, aquatic centres, community centres, parks, sport parks, waterways and beaches.
This survey will help us to understand accessibility in these places, including what’s working well and where improvements are needed.
Who we are asking
We want to hear from people with all kinds of accessibility needs, as well as families, carers and support networks, to help shape more inclusive public places and spaces across the Gold Coast.
We recognise that disability includes a wide range of lived experiences and access needs, not just physical disability. This includes visible and invisible disabilities, neurodivergence, sensory needs, chronic illness, mental health conditions, cognitive disability and more.
Have your say
Your feedback will be used to inform planning, future decision-making and improvements to these places and spaces.
This consultation is open until 5pm Friday 19 June 2026.
Complete the survey for a chance to win one of 3 $250 gift vouchers (terms and conditions apply).
We look forward to receiving your feedback.
