Draft City Plan 2015 (Planning Scheme)

Draft plan submissions review process

The City of Gold Coast (City) has received approximately 2,400 submissions and the process to analyse them will take time. We are currently issuing acknowledgements and undertaking initial reviews of what we have received.

The City Plan 2015 Sub Committee has been established to oversee the delivery of the draft plan. During the submissions review process, the City Plan sub Committee will meet fortnightly at Council Chambers to consider arising issues.

We will continue to provide updates on the analysis phase as it progresses.

It is intended that a final draft City Plan will be provided to the State Government for approval by the end of 2014, subject to Ministerial consideration, adoption and implementation of the draft plan expected in early 2015.
