Have your say on the future of the Broadbeach business precinct!
In 2016, City of Gold Coast endorsed a Broadbeach Place Making Plan that provides a 20 year vision for the future development of the precinct.
The plan focuses on delivering an activated precinct and providing safe and more convenient connections throughout the entire precinct.
We have developed a draft update to the plan and are seeking your feedback on possible improvements proposed in the update, and your broader priorities for the future of Broadbeach.
The major features of the plan proposals include:
A vision for the Broadbeach Mall to rejuvenate the heart of the precinct
A vision for Victoria Park and Kurrawa Park to create activated, functional and flexible spaces
Streetscape and public realm enhancements to improve the precinct such as quality pedestrian boulevards with shared zones and activation of laneways to enjoy live music and public art.
With a plan for a future vision, Broadbeach has the potential to become a more vibrant and diverse beachside neighbourhood, business centre and event precinct.
Tell us what you think is important for the future of Broadbeach and you could win a $500 EFTPOS voucher (terms and conditions apply).
