A colourful legacy: program murals rolled out for Year 3 schools
Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link25 Feb 2021Check out this incredible legacy mural being installed at XX school! (photo) This term we kicked off the installation of five legacy murals at AST participating schools to celebrate the completion this year of their third and final year of the program. The murals are offered to all participating schools as a way of educating and reminding students on the importance of key road safety and active travel in a fun and relatable way and serving as a constant reminder of the school’s commitment to the program. Commissioned by award winning artist Amelia Batchelor, this cluster of murals will continue to be installed at schools over terms 1 and 2.
Now is a great time for your school to start considering whether you would like to have a mural installed at the end of your program tenure and saving a special wall for it on your school grounds! For more information on legacy murals contact activeschooltravel@goldcoast.qlg.gov.au
