Subordinate Local Law - Advertising Devices 2016
Consultation has concluded
The City of Gold Coast (City) is responsible for ensuring that the design, location and display of advertising devices do not create or increase a risk to public health or safety and/or unreasonably impact on the surrounding environment.
A new subordinate local law has been proposed to:
- simplify processes and assist businesses;
- expand the number of sign types that may be displayed without a licence;
- provide clarity around regulatory requirements; and
- provide flexibility of options for businesses.
